The Copystar CS 5054ci is the current-generation 50 ppm color A3 MFP and replaces the 5053ci in the lineup. 50 ppm color and black, native 1200 x 1200 dpi, 200,000-page monthly duty cycle. Controller is the latest Kyocera generation with the 10.1-inch tablet-style panel and improved HyPas app support. Standard 1,150 sheets plus 500-sheet bypass; expandable to 7,650. First page out 4.4 seconds black, 5.7 seconds color. Mobile print, optional Wi-Fi, optional fax, optional TPM. Optional finisher line goes from a basic 1,000-sheet stapler up to a 4,000-sheet saddle-stitch unit. The regret: although the catalog tags this Small Office, the chassis is workgroup-scale and the price is too, so right-size against your real volume before signing.
