Standard 1,150 sheets across two 500-sheet cassettes and a 150-sheet MPT; expandable to 7,150 with side decks. Mono scan to 100 ipm standard, 160 ipm with the optional DSDP. Built-in HyPas platform, optional 4,000-sheet finisher with stapling, hole punch, and saddle-stitch booklet. Optional fax. The regret: at native 600 dpi, complex scanned-then-reprinted documents lose some sharpness compared to native 1200 dpi engines, so spec the 5501i if you scan-and-archive constantly.
