The Lanier IM C3500 is the 35-ppm step in the IM C-series — same chassis as the IM C3000, faster engine, larger duty cycle. Floor-standing A3 color laser MFP (print, copy, scan, fax) for workgroups of 15-40 people printing 5,000-15,000 pages a month. Two 550-sheet trays give 1,100 sheets standard, expandable to 2,300 with optional paper feeders. Print resolution is up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, first copy is 4.2 seconds black / 5.7 color. The 10.1-inch Smart Operation Panel runs Always Current Technology apps; scan-to email, network folder, FTP, internet fax, and USB are standard. The standard ADF is a 100-sheet reversing ARDF; the optional 220-sheet SPDF gives single-pass duplex scanning at speeds that keep up with heavy office workflows. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0 standard; Wi-Fi and NFC are optional. The thing buyers regret: ordering the IM C3500 when their actual color volume is closer to 2,000 pages/month — at that range the IM C2500 saves money up front and on toner. The C3500 only earns its price when you're regularly above 5,000 pages/mo or doing color-heavy job mixes.
