The Lanier LD380 is the 80-ppm production-class mono A3 MFP — Lanier rebrand of the Ricoh Aficio MP 8000/9000 family. Built for central reprographics areas and production print floors of 150-300 people printing 50,000-150,000 mono pages a month. It runs 80 ppm in black and white with a 3.5-second first copy, has 4,100 sheets standard (dual 1,500-sheet LCT plus dual 550-sheet drawers, expandable to 8,300 across five sources), and is rated for a 300,000-page monthly duty cycle. Print resolution is up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. The chassis is 27.2 x 31.1 x 45.9 inches and weighs 478 lb — same physical platform as the LD360, just a faster engine. Scan-to email, network folder, and FTP are standard. The LD380SP variant adds the printer/scanner package as part of the standard configuration. This is a legacy platform — most units sell as pre-owned, low-meter equipment now, but supplies still ship through Ricoh channels. The thing buyers regret: dropping an LD380 into a department that doesn't really run high volume. At 30,000 pages a month, the LD050B or LD140 is the right slot at much lower TCO.
