  • You only need ARDF (reversing feeder) — it works at 50 sheets and 80 ipm, just slower than single-pass on duplex originals.
  • You want the Smart Operation Panel — this generation ships with the older 9" WVGA LCD, not the Android SOP. Operators adapt in a week.

The Lanier MP C3002 is a floor-standing tabloid (11x17) color laser MFP built for departments of 10-30 users printing 3,000-8,000 pages a month. It prints and copies 30 ppm in both black and color, holds 1,200 sheets standard across two 550-sheet drawers and a 100-sheet bypass (expandable to 4,400 with the optional LCT), and is rated for a 200,000-page monthly duty cycle. First-page-out is 4.8 seconds black / 7.3 seconds color at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. Standard connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus USB 2.0; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are optional. The control panel is the older 9-inch WVGA color LCD — not the Android Smart Operation Panel that shows up on the C3004 and later. Document feeding is a 50-sheet ARDF standard (the single-pass SPDF was an option). The thing buyers regret: this is a 2012 platform that was superseded by the C3003 and then the C3004; if you have any choice in the matter, the C3504 with SPDF and SOP standard is a better buy at similar refurb pricing. We sell these for customers running an existing Lanier MP C-series fleet who want a matched unit, or as a low-cost replacement when a leased C3002 dies. Discontinued in 2014, sold refurbished or off-lease only.
