The Lanier MP C3004 is a floor-standing tabloid (11x17) color laser MFP built for departments of 15-40 users printing 4,000-10,000 pages a month. It prints and copies 30 ppm in both black and color, holds 1,200 sheets standard across two 550-sheet drawers and a 100-sheet bypass (expandable to 4,700 with the optional LCT or side LCT), and is rated for a 300,000-page max monthly duty cycle (Lanier recommends staying under 11,000 pages/month for sane consumable economics). First-page-out is 4.6 seconds black / 7.1 seconds color at 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. The 10.1-inch Smart Operation Panel is standard, and scan-to-folder, scan-to-email, OCR-searchable PDF, AirPrint, and Mopria all work out of the box. Standard connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus USB 2.0; Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC are optional add-ons. Document feeding is a 100-sheet single-pass duplex feeder standard at 80 ipm. The thing buyers regret: paying for tabloid when 95% of their print is letter — at that mix the desktop MP C406 saves about a third on the upfront. This was the workhorse mid-tier unit in the Lanier lineup from 2017 until the C3004ex refresh; finishers, third trays, and the Smart Operation Panel firmware all carry across.
