The Lanier MP C6503 is the next-gen update to the C6502, 65 ppm A3 color with the 10.1-inch smart panel, 220 ipm single-pass duplex scanning, and a 669 GB shared hard drive (640 GB usable). Built for 80,000 to 250,000 monthly pages with real production capabilities: standard 3,700 sheets expandable to 8,100, support for stock up to 142 lb cover, and the optional SR4120 finisher that adds saddle stitch booklet making, multi-position stapling at 65 or 100 sheets, hole punch, and multi-fold. Encryption is on the drive by default, which matters for regulated industries. The honest pitch: if you bought a C6502 last cycle and you're due for a refresh, this is the same engine philosophy with much better software and scan speed. The buyer regret is paying for SR4120 finishing and then realizing the team only ever uses staples, in which case the inline finisher would have done the job for thousands less.
