  • You print up to 15,000 pages a month — the engine handles it but at that load you should at least price the IM 4000 (40 ppm A3) for the bigger paper capacity.
  • You staple legal-size or 11x17 sets — this finisher is A4/B5 only; legal won't go through the staple path.
  • You want Wi-Fi but didn't budget for it — the IEEE 802.11 unit is optional, not standard.
  • You scan a lot of color — 40 ipm simplex / 62 ipm duplex on color is good for a desktop, but the A3 IM 4000/5000/6000 push 240 ipm duplex.

The Savin IM 600SRF is a desktop A4 black-and-white laser multifunction with a built-in inner stapling finisher — same 60 ppm engine as the IM 600F, plus a 250-sheet finisher output tray and 50-sheet stapling (A4/B5, corner only) without bolting on an external unit. It scans at 60 ipm simplex / 100 ipm duplex (B&W) and 40 ipm simplex / 62 ipm duplex (color) on a 100-sheet single-pass document feeder with double feed detection, and prints at up to 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. Standard paper capacity is 600 sheets (500-sheet tray plus 100-sheet bypass), expandable to 2,600 sheets with the 4 x 500-sheet PB1160 paper tray option. Fax (PSTN/PBX) is standard. Toner runs 25,500 pages standard yield with a 40,000-page high-yield option — that high-yield cartridge is what makes the 600-series economics work at 8,000+ pages a month. The 10.1" Smart Operation Panel matches the rest of the Savin A3 and A4 line. Standard connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, and Bluetooth (on the panel); Wi-Fi and NFC are optional. The thing buyers regret: not realizing the inner finisher is corner-staple only, A4/B5 only — if you staple legal or 11x17 sets, this finisher won't take them, and you need a different chassis.
