It scans at 120 ipm simplex / 240 ipm duplex on the single-pass document feeder, prints at up to 2,400 x 4,800 dpi with a 4.8/6.4 second first-page-out, and ships with 3,700 sheets of standard input — 8,100 sheets max with the 4,400-sheet A4 LCT or 2,200-sheet A3 LCT. Maximum output capacity hits 3,500 sheets with the 3,000-sheet finisher. The imaging system uses VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) technology and ultrafine PxP toner, which is what enables full-bleed three-edge printing on SRA3+ stock and the precise duplex registration that makes this chassis viable for customer-facing print collateral.
