The Savin MP 2852 (and SP variant) is a desk-side A3 monochrome laser multifunction from the Ricoh Aficio MP 2352/2852/3352 platform, built for workgroups of 10-20 people that need 11x17 mono output and run 2,500-5,000 pages a month. It prints and copies up to 28 ppm at 600 x 600 dpi, first-copies in 5.4 seconds, and warms up in about 20 seconds. Standard paper capacity is 1,100 sheets across two 550-sheet trays, expandable to 3,150 with optional paper banks. The 100-sheet ARDF handles multi-page scanning, and the 4.3-inch color touch panel covers basic copy, scan, and fax workflows without the bells and whistles of the newer Smart Operation Panel. Maximum monthly volume is rated at 100,000 pages with a recommended around 4,000-5,000. Standard scanning hits email, SMB/FTP folders, USB, and LAN fax. Connectivity is 10/100 Ethernet and USB 2.0 standard; Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth are optional interface units.
