Built-in security covers data encryption and hard-disk overwrite, and the duty cycle is rated at 200,000 impressions a month though realistic monthly volume is 5,000 to 10,000. Automatic duplex print is standard. The thing buyers regret: 30 ppm color is noticeably slower than the 5210SF's 40 ppm, so if your team runs color decks and brochures the print queue stacks up. The 1200 x 600 dpi resolution also limits color graphics quality. This is a B&W-first machine with color as a backup. If your color volume is real, buy the SP C840DN or a Sharp MX-C528F instead.
