The asymmetric speed is the design choice: 28 ppm mono for the bulk of office printing, 23 ppm color for the occasional brochure or proposal. It hits first copy out in 7.1 seconds black or 9.5 seconds color, scans through a 100-sheet reversing ADF (10-bit color at 600 x 600 dpi), and outputs up to 11x17. Standard paper capacity is 1,200 sheets across two 550-sheet universal cassettes plus a 100-sheet bypass; the optional 2,500-sheet large-capacity feeder pushes that to 3,700. Print resolution is 2400 x 600 dpi. The 9-inch color touch panel handles scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, scan-to-USB, and basic e-BRIDGE workflows. Wi-Fi is optional.
