The Toshiba e-STUDIO 307 is a floor-standing A3 black-and-white laser MFP for small and mid-size workgroups (5-25 users) that need tabloid-size mono output, copy/print/scan/fax in one box, and don't want to pay for color toner. It runs at 30 ppm with a 4.7-second first copy out, a 9-inch wide VGA color touchscreen, and a 120,000-page maximum monthly duty cycle (Toshiba PM cycle is also 120K). Standard paper capacity is 1,200 sheets across two 550-sheet drawers and a 100-sheet bypass, expandable to 3,200 sheets with the KD1025 pedestal or KD1026 LCF. Memory is 2 GB plus a 320 GB FIPS 140-2 self-encrypting drive — that SED is the reason most legal and government buyers tolerate the otherwise plain spec sheet. Standard connectivity is 10/100/1000 Ethernet plus USB; Wi-Fi (GN1060) and a fax kit (GD1350) are extra-cost. The thing buyers regret: ordering it without the fax kit and finisher and discovering both add four-figure invoice lines. If you need color or single-pass duplex scanning, look at the 3505AC instead — same chassis class, current generation.
