The Xerox AltaLink B8090 is the top of the AltaLink B-series — a production-class floor-standing A3 mono laser multifunction printer for print floors and in-plants serving 200-600 users that print 50,000 to 150,000 pages a month. It runs 90 ppm at letter/A4 and 47 ppm at 11x17/A3 with a 400,000-page monthly duty cycle. First-page-out is as fast as 4.9 seconds. The 200-sheet single-pass Duplex Automatic Document Feeder scans at up to 200 ipm B&W duplex — fast enough to feed the engine without becoming the bottleneck. The High Volume Finisher (3,000-sheet stacker, 100-sheet stapling, 2/3 or 2/4 hole punch) is required on the B8090; the HVF with Booklet Maker is optional and adds saddle-stitch up to 15 sheets / 60 pages. Standard paper capacity is 1,100 sheets, expandable to 4,600 with the High Capacity Tandem Tray and to 8,000 with the optional 3,300-sheet HCF. The 10.1-inch ConnectKey color touchscreen runs Workplace Suite/Cloud, the Xerox App Gallery (Box, Dropbox, OneDrive, Office 365, Google Drive, Salesforce), and the unified 5,000-contact address book.
