The Xerox WorkCentre 5335 is a 35 ppm A3 monochrome MFP that fills the workgroup slot for offices that grew past 30 ppm and need a bit more headroom. First-copy-out lands around 4.5 seconds, the 110-sheet duplex DADF handles two-sided originals in one pass, and output runs up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. Standard input starts at 1,100 sheets and scales to 5,090 sheets with the optional high-capacity feeder. Optional finishing covers stapling and booklet making via Office Finisher LX. Network security includes IEEE 802.1x, SSL, SNMPv3, and Secure Print. Connectivity is wired Ethernet and USB. The regret on this machine: it's the same chassis as the 5325 and 5330 with a faster engine — if you can negotiate the 5330 at a meaningful discount the 5 ppm gap rarely justifies the price difference, and if you need real speed the 5755 jumps to 55 ppm. Toner cartridge yield runs in the 30,000-page range and energy consumption is reasonable for a 35 ppm laser MFP. Scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, and scan-to-USB are standard. The touchscreen UI is the older Xerox interface — functional but visibly dated next to current AltaLink units.
