The Zultys ZIP 49GA is the executive-tier IP phone in the Zultys lineup, and it gets bought by people who actually use a desk phone all day — front-desk managers, executive assistants, sales floor leads — not casual callers. The 7-inch color touch screen and 27 programmable soft keys are the real reason to pick it: you can park 15+ extensions, BLF lights, and shortcut keys without flipping through menus. It runs Android, supports Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth and dual Ethernet, and ties into the Zultys ZAC unified communications app so call control from your laptop stays in sync with the phone. With the optional camera you can do HD video, and it handles 10-way audio conferencing out of the box. The one thing buyers regret: paying for the executive trim when a cheaper Zultys (Z 23GE or Z 22G) would have done the job. If you're not actively using the touch screen, a third of the keys, or the video option, you bought too much phone.
