The HP LaserJet Managed Flow MFP E52545c is a desktop B&W laser multifunction built for workgroups of 5-25 people who do a lot of scanning. It prints up to 45 ppm letter (43 ppm A4), copies at 43 cpm, and scans at 45 ppm / 64 ipm duplex through a 100-sheet single-pass dual-head ADF with HP EveryPage ultrasonic double-feed detection. The duty cycle is 150,000 pages/month with a recommended sweet spot of 4,000-15,000. Standard paper capacity is 650 sheets (100-sheet multipurpose plus 550-sheet tray 2), expandable to 2,300 sheets with up to three optional 550-sheet feeders. The 8.0-inch color touchscreen rotates to a comfortable angle and the c (Flow) model adds a pull-out keyboard, a convenience stapler, embedded OCR, scan to SharePoint, and HP EveryPage — features the dn model doesn't get. HP Sure Start BIOS self-heal and whitelisting are included for security-conscious shops. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus USB 2.0 standard; wireless requires the optional Jetdirect 2900nw or 3000w accessory. The thing buyers regret: assuming color is included.
