The KIP 8080 is a single-function 36-inch monochrome production plotter rated at 22 D-size pages per minute (47 ft/min) at 400 x 400 dpi optical with HDP Plus enhancement. It runs 4 rolls (up to 500 sheets each) plus a 50-sheet automatic cut-sheet feeder for special media. Print width is full 36 inches with extended length capability, sized for engineering plot rooms and repro houses. Closed-toner LED system, predictable cost per print. Print-only — no scan, no copy. Where buyers regret: the 8080 and 8000 are nearly identical in spec — teams who didn't carefully cross-shop them often paid for the 8080 when the 8000 would have been functionally equivalent.
