The Lanier IM C2500 is the 25-ppm step in the Lanier IM C-series — same chassis, same panel, same tray architecture as the IM C2000, just a faster engine. Floor-standing A3 color laser MFP (print, copy, scan, fax) for offices of 8-20 people that need 11x17 color in-house but live in the 1,500-4,500 pages/month range. Two 550-sheet trays give you 1,100 sheets standard, expandable to 2,300. Print resolution is up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, first copy is 5.1 seconds black / 7.4 color. The 10.1-inch Smart Operation Panel runs Always Current Technology apps so scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, FTP, internet fax, and USB are standard out of the box. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0 standard; Wi-Fi and NFC are optional. The standard ADF is a 100-sheet reversing unit (ARDF); upgrade to single-pass duplex (SPDF) if you scan two-sided originals heavily. Monthly duty cycle is 40,000 pages — recommended volume is well below that. The thing buyers regret: cross-shopping the C2500 against a desktop color MFP and going with the smaller box, then realizing they actually needed A3.
