The Lanier MP C3003 is a desktop tabloid (11x17) color laser MFP built for workgroups of 10-30 users printing 2,000-6,000 pages a month. It prints and copies 30 ppm in both black and color, holds 1,200 sheets standard across two 550-sheet drawers and a 100-sheet bypass (expandable to 4,700 with the optional LCT), and Lanier recommends staying under 9,000 pages a month for sane consumable economics. First-page-out is 4.6 seconds black / 7.1 seconds color at 1200 x 1200 dpi. The 10.1-inch Android Smart Operation Panel is standard, and scan-to-folder, scan-to-email, and OCR-searchable PDF all work out of the box; AirPrint and Mopria are also standard, with Wi-Fi and NFC available as add-ons. Document feeding is a 100-sheet single-pass duplex feeder standard at 80 ipm. The thing buyers regret: paying for the C3003 when the C3004 (next-gen) is available at similar refurb pricing with a slightly better fuser and confirmed 80k recommended monthly. We sell a lot of C3003s as low-cost matched-fleet replacements for Lanier customers already standardized on this generation. Discontinued in 2017, sold refurbished or off-lease only.
