It prints and copies up to 50 ppm at 600 x 600 dpi (1200 dpi equivalent print), first-copies in 3.5 seconds, and warms up in about 19 seconds. Standard paper capacity is 1,200 sheets across two 550-sheet trays plus a 100-sheet bypass; max is 3,200 with the optional 2,000-sheet LCT. The 100-sheet reversing ADF handles multi-page scans, and the 9-inch full-color WVGA touchscreen runs copy and basic shortcut workflows. Print and scan require the SP upgrade kit (or order the MP 5002SP, which bundles them). Standard 128 GB hard drive holds stored copies and address book data.
