The Sharp MX-5141N is a sibling to the MX-5140N — same 51 ppm A3 color engine, minor controller and finisher differences, sold today mostly refurbished. Target is small offices doing 7,000 to 16,000 mixed pages a month. It supports 51 ppm color and B&W, 11 x 17, duplex print and scan, the OSA panel, Gigabit Ethernet, USB, and optional Wi-Fi. The thing buyers regret: the MX-5140N and MX-5141N look almost identical on paper but their finisher part numbers differ — order from the wrong model and you get the wrong finisher. Always confirm the suffix on accessory orders. As a refurb purchase with the right finisher and a service contract that covers toner pricing for the full term, this is workable for offices that already have other prior-gen MX boxes and a tech who knows the line.
