The Sharp MX-8081 is the top-of-line production color MFP in the MX-7081/8081 pair at 80 ppm mono and color — built for enterprise central reprographics departments, in-plant print rooms, and large copy centers running 40,000-100,000 pages a month. Same 33.25 x 33.25 x 49 inch chassis and 10.1" touchscreen as the MX-7081, but the engine is faster: 80 ppm in both mono and color, first-page-out 3.7 seconds black / 5.1 color from the platen. The 300-sheet single-pass DSPF with the 150-business card feeder scans at 240 ipm mono / 120 ipm color. Standard 3,100-sheet input (2,000-sheet tandem plus two 500-sheet drawers plus 100-sheet bypass), expandable to 8,500 with the MX-LC12 letter LCC, MX-LC13N air-feed LCT, and MX-LCX3N ledger LCC. Console finishers include the MX-FN21 100-sheet staple, MX-FN22 100-sheet staple/saddle stitch (with optional MX-TM10 trimmer for true bookmaking), MX-FN34/35 65-sheet finishers, plus the MX-CF11 2-tray inserter and MX-FD10 multi-folding unit.
