Every spec, no guessing
The Xerox PrimeLink B9100 is the 100 ppm entry point of the PrimeLink B Series — a mono production press built for in-plant operations and graphics departments doing 70,000-300,000 pages per month. It uses Xerox's VCSEL ROS 32-laser print technology for 2400 x 2400 dpi image quality and runs Xerox EA-Eco Toner for low-gloss, deep solid blacks. Print speeds: 100 ppm Letter, 56 ppm Legal, 50 ppm Tabloid, 34 ppm SRA3 (55 ppm SRA3 is available through a service setting on B9110/B9125/B9136). First copy out is 4.6 seconds or less. The 250-sheet single-pass dual-head ADF scans color or mono at 270 ipm and supports email-with-delivery-notification, SMB/FTP network folder, mailbox, and LDAP. Standard paper handling covers Tray 1 (1,100 sheets letter), Tray 2 (1,600 sheets letter), Trays 3-4 (550 sheets each, A5 to SRA3), and a 250-sheet bypass that pushes 16 lb bond to 140 lb index up to 13 x 26 inches for banner work. Auto duplex runs to 350 gsm coated and uncoated. Optional inline finishing covers Production Ready, Production Ready Booklet Maker, Production Ready Plus (for third-party connection), GBC AdvancedPunch Pro, C/Z Folder, SquareFold Trimmer, and the Plockmatic Pro 450/435 Booklet Maker. Security is enterprise-grade — FIPS 140-3 (Integrated Server), Common Criteria certification, CaC/PIV, SIPRnet smartcard, 256-bit encryption. Buyer regret: undersizing the speed and ending up swapping into a B9125 a year later. If your AMPV is anywhere near 200,000 pages/mo, the B9110 is usually the better starting point.
