Every spec, no guessing

The Xerox Versant 180 Press is the mid-range Versant — same 80 ppm engine as the 80 but with a higher 750,000 page monthly duty cycle and a richer feature baseline. Output is up to 2400 dpi with 10-bit RIP. All-Stocks Rated Speed runs heavy stock to 350 gsm at full 80 ppm with the Performance Package. Standard input is three 550-sheet trays plus a 250-sheet bypass; optional high-capacity feeders extend to 5,900 sheets and XL sheet capability up to 660 mm. Recommended monthly volume is 80,000 pages, with 750,000 max duty cycle. The thing buyers regret: confusing this with the Versant 280. The 180 is single-function color production. The 280 has a larger XL feeder and longer sheet handling. If you're quoting both, make sure your dealer specs the actual finishing line and the actual feeders — the prices diverge by tens of thousands depending on configuration. Also: this is a single-function press, despite "multifunction" appearing on some spec sheets — the integrated scanner is a copy/scan convenience, not a workgroup MFP feature.
