The Xerox 4590 Copier/Printer is a 90 ppm mono production unit on the same chassis as the 4110, built for in-plant print operations, departmental reprographics, and transactional shops doing 60,000-300,000 pages per month. It prints at 90 ppm Letter at 2400 x 2400 dpi (1200 x 1200 dpi RIP) with 256 gray levels and a 3.0-second first copy out. Standard paper capacity is 4,250 sheets across the 1,100-sheet letter tray, 1,600-sheet letter tray, 2x550-sheet trays, and a 250-sheet bypass that handles 4x6 to 13x19. The 250-sheet single-pass duplex ADF scans mono at 100 ipm to email, SMB/FTP, USB, mailbox, or LDAP-authenticated workflows. Auto duplex on prints; ADF handles duplex originals. The 40 GB internal hard drive holds 14.6 GB of document storage. Standard finisher covers 3,000-sheet stacking with 2/3-hole punch and 3-position single or dual 100-sheet variable-length stapling plus a built-in bidirectional decurler. Optional Booklet Maker adds saddle-stitch up to 25 sheets / 100 imaged sides. The integrated server (10.4-inch color touchscreen) is standard; FreeFlow Print Server (SUN platform) is the production upgrade for shops running PostScript / VIPP / VPS workflows.
