Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use 1800officesolutions.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have done
- We test our main page templates with automated accessibility checks (Google Lighthouse, which uses the axe-core engine).
- We raised the contrast of text and buttons to meet WCAG AA.
- Every form field and dropdown has a name, and form errors are announced to screen readers.
- Each page has a “Skip to main content” link, a visible keyboard focus outline, and respects the reduced-motion setting on your device.
- Images have text alternatives, and headings follow a logical order.
- An accessibility button in the bottom left corner of every page lets you enlarge text, raise contrast, underline links, pause motion and switch to an easier-to-read font. It is there for convenience; the site itself is built to work without it.
Known limitations
Some parts of the website come from third-party services that we do not fully control:
- The Google reviews widget and the chat assistant, which are provided by our customer relationship platform.
- The product catalog on showroom.1800officesolutions.com.
We have asked for improvements where we can. If any of these gets in your way, contact us and we will help you directly.
