Copiers for construction, set up for plans and bids.

Construction offices print bid packages, contracts, permits and change orders, and many need 11 by 17 for plan sets. Tell us how your company works and we will match one machine to your volume, with service and toner included. A partner dealer who serves your area delivers and installs it.

If you print contracts, permits and forms, a desktop multifunction with scan to email for the field is usually enough.

For 11 by 17 plan sets and marked-up drawings, a floor A3 color machine is the usual choice, with stapling for bid packages.

What construction companies need

What a construction office asks of its copier.

11 by 17 for plans

Plan sets, site plans and schedules often print on 11 by 17. A floor A3 machine handles that size along with letter and legal.

Bids and submittals

Bid packages and submittals are long documents. A fast machine with stapling saves time at deadline.

Office and field together

Scanning signed change orders, permits and inspection reports to email gets them to the field and the office at the same time.

Color for markups

Color helps for marked-up drawings, site photos and safety materials.

Prices are starting points for one machine. Your quote depends on your volume, color and finishing.

Large drawings and the end of the lease

Full-size construction drawings, such as 24 by 36 inch sheets, need a wide format printer, which is quoted separately. Tell us if you print full-size drawings and we will include that in the conversation.

Copiers keep images of scanned and printed pages on internal storage. Before any leased machine leaves your office, plan for the drive to be wiped or removed, and ask for written confirmation that it was done.

If your current lease is ending, the lease end check shows you what to look for in your contract first.

Construction copier questions

Can an office copier print 11 by 17 plan sets?

Yes. A floor A3 copier prints 11 by 17 as well as letter and legal. Full-size drawings, such as 24 by 36, need a wide format printer, which is quoted separately.

Do we need color?

Color helps for marked-up drawings and site photos. If you mostly print text and black and white plans, a black and white machine keeps the monthly cost lower.

Can we scan documents to the field?

Most office copiers scan to email or to a shared folder, so signed documents reach your field team as soon as they are scanned.

Who delivers and services the machine?

A partner dealer who serves your area delivers, installs and services the machine. Service and toner are included in the lease.

How much does a copier lease cost for a construction company?

Desktop machines start from $79 per month, floor A3 black and white from $119, and floor A3 color from $169. Wide format printers are quoted separately. Your quote covers one machine matched to your office.
