This video shows how to load a paper roll on the HP PageWide XL Printer Series.
Start the Paper app to access the paper menu, then press Load paper. Open the drawer. Open the locking levers on the left and right hubs. Move both hubs outward to make room for the roll. Place the roll into the drawer between the hubs with the paper edge as shown.
Do not load it at an angle. Slide the hubs back towards the center so that they engage with the roll. Ensure that the hubs are fitted tightly to the roll on both sides. Close the locking levers on the left and right hubs. Feed the paper into the appropriate slot: the front slot for the front roll, the rear slot for the rear roll. Continue feeding until you hear a beep.
If the paper edge is not straight and clean, you can cut it off with the paper-cut button. Remember to remove the cut strip of paper. Close the drawer when you have finished loading rolls into it. Change the Paper type values by pressing the roll box. If you need to load another roll, press Load another roll and repeat the previous procedure.
When you are ready, press Finish and check.
